първата кола (29 януари 1886 г. Карл Бенц е получил патент за свой автомобил), Mercedes-Benz в Детройт  официално обяви масовото производство на електрическия спортист SLS AMG E-Cell.

SLS AMG E-Cell ще се появи на пазара през 2013 г. и за разлика от стандартния SLS AMG с V8 двигател работещ на бензин с 420 kW и 571 к.с., който до 100 км/ч ще достига за 3,8 секунди при максимална скорост от 317 км/ч, SLS AMG E-Cell е 392kW с 533 к.с. и 880 Nm (батерия е литиево-йонна, 48 кВтч).

Ускорение от 0-100 км/ч е за 4 секунди, а според изявлението автономната работа трябва да е между 150 и 180 километра.

They are a perfect combination of quality, reliability, ideal look and price. They are not as expensive and authoritative as Ferraris are, but, nevertheless, they are still worth paying our attention to.

This year Mercedes will be presented with a new model Mercedes-Benz F 700. Only 2 words can be used to describe it: dazzling and dizzying. It is a prototype of a future S-class Sedan. As to main characteristics and peculiarities of this car:

• it embodies low consumption and friendliness to the surroundings;
• 4-cylinder car; gets a V-6 power experimental engine, that unites turbo charging and diesel compression. This engine is much spoken about, because it is a hybrid of Diesotto (combination of two words diesel and surname of the inventor Otto) and standard Mercedes engine. The emissions from such engine will be minimal;
• has a gas engine;
• 1.8 l engine;
• can speed up to 60 mph only in 7.5 seconds;
• top speed is nearly 120 mph;
• consumes 5.3 L pf fuel per 100 km;
• presents a new engine producing technology Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI);

As to the price, it is currently unknown, but we perfectly know, that cars with a diesel engine are more expensive, that those with standard engines. But Mercedes F 700 and its brand-new engine can be a perfect alternative to the existing ones.

Mercedes SLK - официално и снимки

След рекламно видео във Франция, което за първи път миналия месец, се появи в YouTube, ето първите официални снимки на новото, трето поколение на SLK Mercedes. 

Новия SLK ще започне продажби в Германия на 17-ти Януари, а официалното представяне ще се проведе през февруари в Абу Даби. 

Този двуместен автомобил със сгъваем твърд покрив е по-динамичен в сравнение с предишните модели, разбира се, с по-голяма сигурност, подобрена управляемост, просторен интериор, с по-високо качествени материали и богат списък от стандартно и допълнително оборудване (start/stop sistem, Pre-Safe sistem, Attention Assist, Speed Limit Assist, Intelligent Light System, 7G-TRONIC PLUS трансмисия, стъклен покрив, Airscarf sistem, адаптивни светлини, LED фарове, Harman Kardon audio system, COMAND Online...). 

Първоначално ще бъде на разположение в следните версии SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY (4 цилиндъра, 1796 куб.см. обем, 135 kW с 184 к.с. на 5250 об / мин, 240 км / ч, 0-100 км/ч за 7,3 сек, а консумацията ще е 6.1 литър на 100 км с емисии на CO2 от 142 г / км и тегло от 1435 кг), SLK 250 BlueEFFICIENCY (1796 куб.см. 150 kW  при 5500 об/мин с 204 к.с., 243 км/ч, 0-100 км / ч 6.6 сек, а потреблението е от 6.2 л/100 км при емисии на CO2 от 144 гр/км и тегло 1500 кг) и SLK 350 BlueEFFICIENCY с V6 двигател от 3498 куб.см. и 225 kW при 6500 об/мин  с 306 к.с. (250 км/ч, 0-100 км/ч за 5.6 сек, разход от 7.1 л/100 км, емисии на CO2 167 гр/км и тегло 1540 кг). 

Покъсно ще се излезе и спортен вариант с V8 двигател AMG, 422 к.с. и 4-цилиндров турбо-дизелов двигател от 2.2 литра обем с 204 к.с. ( SLK 250 CDI, който ще се появи по-късно тази година). 

По отношение на размери, новият SLK е дълъг 4134 mm, широк 1810 mm, висок 1301 mm, колесната база е 2430 mm, резервоарът е 60 литра, а обема на товара е в зависимост от позицията на покрива и диапазона 225-335 литра при  коефициент на въздушно съпротивление 0,30. 

Цените в Германия са за Mercedes SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY - 38 675 евро, SLK 250 BlueEFFICIENCY - 44 256 евро и Mercedes SLK 350 BlueEFFICIENCY 52 300 евро.  

RENNtech стартира тунинг програма за Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series

Mercedes-Benz CLK Coupe скоро може да бъде замен

с нов модел, но тунерите не са оставили собствениците на този модел, без резервни части и продукти.

Базираната във Флорида тунинг фирма специалист с модели на Mercedes наречена RENNtech току-що публикува нов пакет аеро боди кит за CLK 63 AMG Black Series. Той включва напълно функционален пълен преден спойлер и заден дифузьор от въглерод, предни спирачни въздуховоди, нов дизайн на пакета от въглерод и напълно регулируемо в стил DTM задно крило.

Според компанията, всички компоненти са тествани от фирмата и инженерния персонал, "за да се интегрират безпроблемно на оригиналния корпус". 

Mercedes C Coupe - Първи снимки

След първите официални снимки на C-Class модел 2011

(на който продажбите в Германия започват през март 2011 г.) бяха публикувани и първите снимки на дълго очаквания Mercedes C Coupe.

В допълнение към леко променения дизайн на C-Class модел 2011 година, който се предлага в седан икомби), Mercedes ще предложи на потребителите именно, C Coupe, който ще видим на тазгодишното автомобилно изложение в Женева (провеждащо се от 3 до 13 март).

Както и реконструиран седан и комби C-Class, така и C Coupe ще предложи система Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Attention Assist, Distronic Plus, Pre-Safe Brake с парктроник и Speed LimitAssist, както и старт-стоп система, седем-степенна автоматична скоростна кутия 7G-Tronic.

Планира се спортен вариант на V8 двигател AMG с около 500 к.с., а C Coupe ще се произвежда в завода в Бремен (заедно със седана и комби клас C).

2011 Mercedes R class in India - Specifications, Reviews and Prices

2011 Mercedes R class

Mercedes, one of the world's largest luxury car manufacturer have launched a new kind of Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) that offers space and comfort of an MPV coupled with refinement and driving dynamics of a saloon car. This new vehicle, named as Mercedes R class in India is going to be the only car in this segment and has ample opportunity to carve out a niche for itself.

This new Mercedes R class features a 3498cc V6 petrol engine that will provide a maximum power of about 272bhp at 6000rpm and a maximum torque of about 35.7Nm at 2400rpm. It does the 0-100 sprint in 8.4 seconds and has a top speed of 230kph. Nothing yet is decided about the diesel variant of Mercedes R class for the Indian market.

This new Mercedes R class, which is an all-wheel-drive automatic, comes with Mercedes' latest generation 7G-Tronic automatic transmission. It has the shift paddles placed on the steering wheel while a Direct Select lever is on the steering column. This new MPV, which can seat upto seven people has redone front grille, headlights, bonnet and wings in it.

Some of the notable features that this new Mercedes R class offers are bi-xenon headlamps, steel spring suspension in front and AIRmatic (Adaptive Intelligent Ride control) system featuring self-levelling air suspension in the rear. It also features a leather-covered tilt and telescopic steering wheel, dual zone automatic climate control and a choice of high gloss wood trims, command system with an in-dash six-disc CD/DVD changer, eight-inch screens for the rear passengers, a DVD player and wireless headphones etc.

This new Mercedes R class in India, is expected to be priced around Rs 60 lakhs.

Mercedes ML63 AMG остава в производство

Въпреки че преди няколко дни в интернет се е разпространи новината, че Mercedes

ще спре от производство гамата ML представен в няколко версии ( ML63 AMG и ML450CDI), според последните данни от САЩ, това няма да се случи.

American Motor Trend пише, че именно тази версия ще остане в офертата за 2011-та година и че производството продължава във завода на Mercedes Tuscaloosa в Алабама.

Напомняме Ви, че под капака на ML63 AMG се намира 6.2 литров V8 двигател с 375kW, 510 к.с. на 6800 об. / мин. и 630 Nm въртящ момент, достатъчно, за да ускори до 100 км/ч в рамките на 5 секунди, а максималната скорост е електронно ограничена до 250 км / ч. Предаването на движението се осъществява от AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC и е на четирите колела (разпределение на 40:60 отпред / отзад), част от пакет включва AMG спортно окачване, AMG спирачна система, AMG двойни спици джанти с 20 цолови гуми 295/40 R 20 (по избор и 21-цолови с гуми 295/35 R 21), AMG спортни кожени седалки с отопление и електричество. Предлага се и AMG спортен волан ...

От друга страна, ML450 CDI се задвижва с 4.0 литров двигател V8 дизел с 225kW, 306 к.с. и 700 Nm, което е достатъчно за скорост до 235 км / ч и ускорение до 100 км / ч за 6.5 секунди.
