Porsche 918 RSR на салона в Детройт - Sketch

The 911 in all its iterations has been Porsche's bread and butter, along with the Boxster and Cayman in more recent years. Despite all of her remarkable design features and super car personality, Porsche prides itself on creating a super car that can be driven on a daily basis. Новото поколение Porsche 911 ще има световна премиера на
автомобилното изложение във Франкфурт (септември 2011 г.). И докато това се случи, немското списание Auto Bild пусна някои нови подробности за спортиста.В допълнение към променения дизайн, новият 911 ще получи значително преработен интериор, малко повече багажно пространство, нова задна ос, двигатели с намалена консумация на гориво и емисии на CO2, променени размери и ще има малко по-ниско тегло.
Теглото му е в сравнение с настоящия модел е намалено с около 20 кг, а дължината е увеличена с 56 мм (449 см), докато междуосовото разстояние се увеличава с 10 мм.
За задвижване ще се предлага 3,4-литров шестцилиндров двигател с 257kW и 350 к.с., с които 911 ще достига от 0 до 100 km/ч за 4,8 секунди, при максимална скорост до 289 км/ч, а разходът на гориво ще бъде 8,5 литра на 100 км.
Porsche 911 Carrera S ще използва преработен 3.8-литров двигател с 294kW с 400 к.с., достатъчно за достигане на повече от 302 км/ч, а ускорението е за 4.5секунди (разход на гориво 9.1 литра на 100 км).
За новия автомобил ще се предлагат нови алуминиеви джанти от 19 инча, а на Carrera S с 20 инча.

This is followed by the Cayenne GTS and then there are the two top-of-the-range models; the Cayenne Turbo and Cayenne Turbo S. All of the Cayenne vehicles are powered by petrol engines. The entry level model has a 3.6-litre V6 (232 PS) unit. The S and GTS models use 4.8-litre V8 units (385 and 405 PS). The Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S models use 4.8-litre twin-turbo charged V8 units (500 PS and 550 PS respectively).

The car was offered with a 6-speed manual transmission system along with a wheel base of 92.7 inches. The car is equipped with 3.6 L, 380 hp and H6 type engine. The length of the car was about 174. 3 inches, whereas its width and height were about 69.7 inches and 50.2 inches respectively.
Porsche had designed the basic casting for crankcase in GT3 as similar to an air cooled engine and casting number of 964 underneath the crankcase. The same style was adopted by the company till the production of 2004 GT3 model cars. However, the casting of crankcase was modified in mid 2004 to a 996 casting crankcase.
