Нов Seat Leon на салона във Франкфурт 2011

Сегашния Seat Leon е на пазара от 2005г.

По време на миналогодишното автомобилно изложение в Женева дискретно бе показана актуализирана версия, а ново поколение се очаква в края на следващата година.

Премиера е планирана за септември на изложението във Франкфурт, а изгледа до голяма степен ще бъде вдъхновен от концепцията Seat IBE.

Що се отнася до двигателя, новия Leon ще използва включително 1.4 TFSI, 2.0 TFSI, 1.6 TDI и 2.0 TDI дизелови двигатели.

Задвижването ще се предава на предните колела, но се очаква испанския производител да предложи и вариант със задвижване на четирите колела.

Гамата ще продължи със спортен Leon, а клиентите ще могат да получат и DSG кутия с два съединителя.

Seat IBE Paris Concept
